- Represented private equity fund in a multitier joint venture for the redevelopment of Pacific Park railyards in Brooklyn.
- Represented private equity fund in joint venture to develop branded hotels.
- Represented Oak View Group in joint ventures to develop or redevelop arenas in Canada, Spain and elsewhere.
- Represented real estate investment company in programmatic development venture with a provider of storage and logistics services to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Represented private equity fund in programmatic residential land development joint venture and related financing.
- Represented private equity fund in its joint venture to acquire and develop beachfront property in Florida as an ultra-luxury residential condominium.
- Represented U.S. investment manager on a programmatic joint venture to develop multifamily communities in the Southeast.
- Represented U.S. investment manager in a joint venture to develop a mixed-use complex in Atlanta.
- Represented Access Industries in its joint venture to acquire a mixed-use hotel and condominium project located on the High Line in New York City.
Acquisitions and Dispositions
- Represented TPG on its joint venture with retail operator Acadia Realty Trust in connection with the $424.4 million acquisition of The Shops at Skyview in Queens, New York, and a related mortgage loan.
- Represented U.S investment manager in acquisition of a 50% joint venture interest for an apartment building in Seattle.
- Represented Realterm in acquisition of 13 industrial logistics properties across six states.
- Represented U.S. private equity fund in the acquisition of a biomanufacturing campus located in North Carolina.
- Represented U.S. private equity fund in the sale of a portfolio of industrial properties in Westchester County, New York.
- Represented U.S. private equity fund in its purchase of a portfolio of 62 multifamily apartment buildings.
Financings and Back-Leverage
- Represented multifamily operator in $110 million mortgage loan to refinance three assets in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Represented institutional investor in connection with a $130 million preferred equity investment in a New York City office building.
- Represented U.S. hedge fund in connection with mezzanine facility to finance “ghost kitchens” business, including for acquisition and build out of commercial kitchen properties.
- Represented real estate private equity firm in obtaining multiple commercial mortgage loan repurchase facilities in excess of $1 billion.
- Represented alternative investment manager in multiple repurchase facilities relating to its construction lending business.
- Represented Ventas in connection with a workout of a portfolio of senior living mezzanine loans.

- Represented digital infrastructure investor in ground lease for the development of a power plant in Texas.
- Represented real estate private equity firm in joint venture with a hyperscaler to acquire and develop a data center campus in Louisiana.

- Represented Blue Owl in $27 billion joint venture and lease with Meta Platforms, Inc. for the development of the Hyperion data center campus in Richland Parish, Louisiana.
- Represented Blue Owl in a joint venture with a hyperscaler for the acquisition and development of a data center campus in New Jersey.
- Represented private equity fund in joint venture to develop a data center near Toronto.
Hospitality
- Represented Starwood in its acquisition of Extended Stay America in a joint venture with Blackstone for approximately $6 billion.
- Represented Starwood Capital Group in the $1.5 billion acquisition of Woodspring Suites properties by Extended Stay Hotels.
- Represented U.S. private equity fund in its recapitalization of Intown Suites.
- Represented U.S. private equity fund in its co-sponsorship with AJ Capital of an investment fund to acquire and develop Field & Stream-branded hotels.
- Represented Cerberus in the acquisition of CorePoint Lodging Inc. and related financing.
- Represented Wynn Resorts in its $1.7 billion sale-leaseback of Encore Boston Harbor Real Estate to Realty Income.
- Represented U.S. private equity fund in its sale of the Four Seasons Resort and Residence Anguilla.
- Represented global investment firm in connection with the recapitalization and refinancing of a boutique hotel in downtown New York City.
- Represented family office in the formation of a joint venture to acquire a hotel and country club in West Palm Beach, Florida.
