Overview

Laura Ashley Harris is an associate in the Bay Area office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She focuses her practice on patent and trade secret litigation. Laura Ashley has participated in proceedings before the ITC, PTAB, multiple federal district courts, and the Federal Circuit. Her litigation experience has included a variety of technologies and sciences, including telecommunications, consumer electronics, medical devices, and various immunotherapies.

Prior to starting her legal career, Laura Ashley worked at a leading professional services firm, implementing HR systems and developing integrations with external vendors. While in law school, Laura Ashley was the Editor in Chief of the Georgetown Law Technology Review and the President of the Georgetown Law Student Intellectual Property Law Association. During law school Laura Ashley also developed an application for low income cancer patients, winning the Excellence in Design award at Georgetown Law's Iron Tech Lawyer Competition.
