Prior to joining Kirkland, Eleanor advised on the following matters:

• FCA regulatory engagement including assisting with authorisation applications and responding to information requests on behalf of large banks and cryptoasset firms.
• Regulatory considerations and filings in relation to major transactions including acquisitions of control.
• Engagement with third-party counterparties to financial institutions on the application of DORA, MICAR, CRD IV, EMIR and negotiation of related agreements.
• General advisory on financial services matters (including MiFID / MiFIR, EMIR, financial promotions, the FCA handbook (e.g. systems and controls, governance, conduct of business, SMCR), cryptoasset regulation, consumer credit and financial crime (including MAR, the MLRs and POCA)).
• Financial Services considerations for product roll out in multiple jurisdictions.
