Overview

Ryan Jones is an IP litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ryan was a mechanical engineer at General Motors. This work gave him extensive experience in electric vehicle systems, hybrid systems, semi-autonomous Advanced Driver Assistant Systems (ADAS) and other dynamic control systems. This background also provides him with both a technical understanding of autonomous vehicles and a working knowledge of the legal and regulatory topics associated with them. He is also acquainted with other emerging technology, such as generative artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics.
