Prior to joining Kirkland, Maud was involved in the following matters:

• Booking Holdings – Advising on a broad range of EU and international competition and regulatory matters, including compliance with the Digital Markets Act (DMA), the General Court appeal against the European Commission's prohibition of the Booking/eTraveli transaction, and strategic antitrust counselling.
• Veolia Environnement – Advising on the competition law aspects of its €12.9 billion acquisition of Suez.
• Essilor – Advising on the competition law aspects of its €46 billion combination with Luxottica.
• Elsan – Advising on the merger control aspects of its acquisitions of Hexagone Santé Méditerranée.
• Alstom – Advising on the global antitrust aspects of its €7 billion acquisition of Bombardier Transportation.
• CSL Vifor – Representing the company in a European Commission investigation concerning alleged abuse of dominance in the iron deficiency products sector.
• Thales – Advising on the merger control aspects of its acquisition of Gemalto before the European Commission and numerous other competition authorities.
• PayPal – Advising on a range of European and international competition law matters.
• NVIDIA – Representing the company in the European Commission's investigation into Qualcomm concerning alleged predatory pricing.
• Google – Advising on competition law and regulatory matters, including in South Africa and India.
• Various clients – Advising on complex antitrust investigations and complaints involving both horizontal and vertical conduct.
