Ryan Moorman is a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP who represents both plaintiffs and defendants in high stakes lawsuits and arbitrations. His clients include some of the world’s largest companies and private equity firms across a diverse range of industries. Ryan’s experience spans all phases of litigation, and he has recently helped clients win cases at the pleading stage, through summary judgment, and at trial, including a recent defense verdict in a nine-figure trade secret trial.
Ryan received his J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of law, where he graduated first in his class. Before joining Kirkland, Ryan clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit for the Honorable Joel M. Flaum and on the Northern District of Illinois for the Honorable Gary Feinerman.
