Overview

Alexandra Obiol is an intellectual property associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice focuses on patent infringement and trade secret litigation in federal district courts and in Section 337 proceedings before the United States International Trade Commission. Her past work also includes assisting with USPTO inter partes review proceedings. Alexandra has experience across all phases of litigation, including pre-suit diligence, taking and defending depositions, claim construction briefing, arguing at discovery hearings, drafting dispositive motions, preparing and examining trial witnesses, and post-trial motions. Alexandra also maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in substandard housing conditions.
