Overview

Cole Parker is a partner in Kirkland’s Corporate Transactional Group. His practice concentrates on counseling private equity sponsors and family offices in structuring, negotiating and executing complex business transactions, including leveraged buyouts, take-private transactions, domestic and cross-border acquisitions, carve-out transactions, corporate restructurings, secondary transactions, GP stakes transactions, equity financings and venture capital and growth equity investments as well as general corporate counseling.

Cole also co-leads the Firm’s Private Investment & Family Office Practice and advises highly-sophisticated family offices on complex business transactions, sports and entertainment investments, structuring traditional and alternative family office investment vehicles, including advising family offices on raising third party capital and incorporating carried interest and co-investment programs for family office investment teams, and governance and succession best practices.

Cole has led representative matters ranging from several million dollars to approximately $11 billion in a variety of industries, including software, consumer and business services, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, food and automotive. Cole has handled matters for numerous private equity sponsors, including A&M Capital, Thoma Bravo, Thomas H. Lee Partners, KPS Capital Partners, New Water Capital, ParkerGale, Beecken Petty O’Keefe and Pritzker Private Capital. Cole also handles matters for some of the wealthiest and most institutionalized family offices in the world.
