Tasmin Patel is a regulatory partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP, focusing on the structuring, establishment and distribution of private wealth products that target high net-worth, semi-professional and retail investors.
Tasmin has significant experience advising alternative investment fund managers on complex EU and UK financial regulatory matters to facilitate access to high net worth and retail capital, including in relation to AIFMD, MiFID and ELTIFR.
She has been extensively involved in advising on the structuring, distribution and ongoing regulatory obligations of a number of the leading European semi-liquid evergreen private wealth funds (across a wide range of strategies and asset classes).
She also regularly advises clients on the distribution of their private wealth products, and has negotiated with a range of counterparties across the full spectrum of private banks, platform providers and feeder operators.
