Michael Patton is a litigation associate in the Austin office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Michael advises public companies, investment firms, financial institutions and individuals in inquiries and investigations brought by the SEC, DOJ, FINRA and other federal entities. He also conducts internal investigations concerning highly sensitive compliance, business and corporate governance matters.
Michael has experience litigating complex commercial disputes, including M&A, fiduciary duty, breach of contract and trade secret litigation.
