Eric Perelman is a corporate associate in the New York, NY office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he is a member of the Investment Funds Practice Group. He advises private equity and other investment fund sponsors on a range of regulatory and transactional matters arising under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the U.S. federal securities laws. His practice focuses on counseling private fund sponsors through U.S. SEC examinations, investigations, and enforcement actions; regulatory and compliance matters arising in connection with the formation, registration, and operation of private fund complexes, including compliance programs, governance structures, marketing, custody, and transactional matters; and regulatory issues arising during fundraises and mergers and acquisitions involving private funds and their portfolio companies.
