Jackson Phinney is an Employment & Labor partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Jackson’s practice focuses primarily on labor and employment issues implicated in the context of corporate transactions, and Jackson has represented clients in hundreds of deals comprising the full suite of domestic and cross-border mergers, equity and asset transactions, and corporate carve-outs and joint ventures. Jackson also counsels clients in connection with a diverse array of supplementary employment matters, including with respect to personnel onboarding, transition and separation; restrictive covenant enforceability; disputes and misconduct; internal reorganizations; employee leasing and secondment; wage and hour compliance; union and labor relations; and employee policies and procedures.
