Kirkland Advises TJC-Backed Arclin on Agreement to Acquire DuPont’s Aramids Business

Kirkland & Ellis advised Arclin, a portfolio company of an affiliate of TJC, L.P., on its definitive agreement to acquire DuPont’s Aramids business, including the iconic Kevlar® and Nomex® brands, for approximately $1.8 billion, and on its related financing commitments. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
