Ryan Schmidt is a litigation associate in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Ryan represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, and arbitration proceedings.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Ryan was a litigation associate at an international law firm. He also previously served as an assistant attorney general in the Alaska Department of Law’s civil appellate division. Ryan’s experience includes disputes related to breach of contract, antitrust, state attorney general investigations, class actions, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and representing a national pharmacy in nationwide litigation.
