Coree Smith is the Firmwide Knowledge Management Partner for Kirkland’s Real Estate Group. In this role, she manages all real estate precedent documents and forms, transaction management tools and databases, and artificial intelligence used by Kirkland’s Real Estate attorneys. She also administers all Real Estate training, practice development, mentoring activities, recruiting programs, pro bono activities and group and industry events on the Real Estate Group’s behalf.
Coree also has extensive experience counseling clients in all aspects of complex real estate transactions, with a particular focus in mortgage and mezzanine financing, having represented both lenders and borrowers in various acquisition, predevelopment and construction loan transactions, loan workouts and restructurings involving a variety of assets, including hospitality, retail, mixed-use, office, industrial and multifamily properties.
