Prior to joining Kirkland, Palmer was involved in the following matters:

• Member of a trial team that secured a $47 million jury verdict on behalf of a young girl who suffered permanent injuries at birth.
• Represented a healthcare company in a dispute with its joint venture partner in which the partner sought to sever the joint venture and asserted claims implicating over $500 million.
• Represented a Tennessee hospital system in one of several companion federal lawsuits involving Title VI and state law racial discrimination claims in the context of kidney transplant waitlisting.
• Represented a global workforce solutions company in a U.S. Department of Labor investigation concerning alleged violations of child labor and wage-and-hour laws.
• Represented the nation’s largest private corrections company in civil rights litigation, commercial disputes and professional liability matters.
