Overview

Cristina Martinez Squiers is a litigation partner in the Dallas office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She has extensive experience litigating complex cases at the trial and appellate level. She has argued before the Seventh Circuit and filed appellate briefs in the Fifth, Seventh, Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Circuits. She has also represented numerous clients in the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to joining Kirkland, she led strategy efforts for various high-profile cases that resulted in summary judgment victories for clients such as AT&T and General Electric.

Cristina has particular experience in class action litigation on the plaintiff and defense side and at the trial and appellate level. Before joining Kirkland, she secured class certification in a Title VII case and defended clients such as Toyota, Honda, Nestle, Kimberly-Clark and Navy Federal Credit Union against class claims.

Cristina served as a law clerk to Judge Don Willett on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Prior to law school, Cristina worked at the nation’s largest adoption agency and started a mentoring program for youth aging out of foster care.
