Overview

David Stults is a corporate partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Dave concentrates his practice on representing domestic and international private fund sponsors in connection with structuring, negotiating, forming and operating private investment funds, including buyout funds, growth equity funds, debt funds, real estate funds and other private investment vehicles, including single asset funds and special purpose vehicles. Dave also focuses on representing private equity sponsors in connection with the organization, structuring, and operation of their management companies. Dave also has experience advising clients with respect to extraordinary fund and management company events, such as fund restructurings, single asset transactions and minority sales of management company interests. Dave has formed funds ranging in size from under $150 million to over $4 billion.
