Overview

Nicholas Styles is an investment funds partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on the formation, structuring, management and ongoing operation of private investment funds. In addition, Nicholas counsels fund sponsors on internal economic, governance and operational matters, and also advises on co-investment arrangements and separately managed accounts, alternative investment structures and the fund-related aspects of M&A transactions. Nicholas’ practice includes representing a wide range of sponsors, from some of the largest global asset managers to multiple small-cap and middle-market sponsors, on the formation of private investment funds ranging from multibillion-dollar offerings to several-hundred-million first-time funds.
