Kirkland Advises Dawson on $7.7 Billion Closing of Portfolio Finance 6 and Affiliated Vehicles
Kirkland & Ellis advised Dawson Partners on its final closing of Dawson Portfolio Finance 6 LP (Portfolio Finance 6, PF6 or the Fund). PF6, along with affiliated coinvest vehicles, closed on over $7.7 billion. The Fund was oversubscribed, achieved its hard cap and represents Dawson’s largest Portfolio Finance fund raised to date. Following this closing, Dawson’s assets under management have surpassed $25 billion a little over 10 years since the Firm’s founding. The transaction was announced October 23, 2025.
