Tiho Svilanovic is an associate in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. He is a member of the Firm’s Sustainability Practice Group, which advises some of the world’s most sophisticated and dynamic private equity firms, corporations, and project sponsors and lenders on complex and evolving legal issues relating to sustainability and climate-related regulatory requirements, investor demands, strategic opportunities, and voluntary reporting frameworks and coalitions.
In addition to his transactional practice, which includes advising private equity sponsors and corporates acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures across all sectors, Tiho counsels private equity firms and corporates on EU and UK sustainability and energy regulation, policies, mandatory and voluntary reporting and external frameworks. His practice is informed by his prior experience working on domestic and cross-border transactions and projects across all energy and natural resources subsectors, including oil and gas and biofuels, renewables, mining, hydrogen, EV batteries and battery storage, as well as on EU and UK energy regulation.
