Overview

William Tuttle is an investment funds partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and focuses his practice on capital markets and corporate matters involving the asset management industry. Will advises business development companies (BDCs), closed-end funds, investment advisers and investment banks on a wide range of public and private capital markets transactions and other corporate matters. He regularly counsels on the establishment and ongoing operation of public, private and continuously offered BDCs, consolidation transactions in the BDC industry and the formation and structuring of asset managers.

Will has been recognized for his work in legal directories such as The Legal 500 United States, Legal and IFLR1000. In addition, Will was named one of the Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40 by the National LGBT Bar Association, an affiliate of the American Bar Association.
