Prior to joining Kirkland, Tara was involved in the following representative matters:
Assisted trial team in obtaining a defense verdict for an international insurance company in a federal jury trial alleging bad faith refusal to settle and seeking damages in excess of $1 billion.
Obtained TRO and favorable outcome in arbitration on behalf of proprietary trader seeking non-enforcement of restrictive covenants for approximately 30 traders.
Won dismissal of whistleblower claims brought against pharmaceutical company, and affirmed by the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Obtained TRO for local business plaintiff sought to shut down based on alleged unfair city bidding process.
