Overview

Semhar Woldai is a partner in Kirkland’s Investment Funds Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and a senior member of the Firm’s Liquidity Solutions Team.

Semhar’s practice focuses on advising sponsors in connection with single- and multi-asset continuation fund transactions, as well as other complex business transactions in the private funds secondary market. She also has extensive experience counseling private fund sponsors on the organization and operation of private investment funds and co-investment programs across a variety of investment strategies, asset classes and geographies.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Semhar was counsel in the private funds practice at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
