• Warburg Pincus on its investment in Nord Security at a $3 billion valuation
• Guardian Capital Group (TSX: GCG; GCG.A) in connection with Guardian Smart Infrastructure Management’s acquisition of a controlling interest in Q-Free ASA, a provider of intelligent transportation systems
• Thoma Bravo Portfolio Company, J.D. Power, on acquisition of Autovista Group
• EQT led consortium on the £4.5 billion recommended cash offer of Dechra Pharmaceuticals plc
• Warburg Pincus and its portfolio company Citeline (formerly Pharma Intelligence) on the merger of equals with Norstella to form an end-to-end life sciences solutions provider
• Bain Capital Private Equity on the €955.3 million public takeover of Caverion Corporation
• Francisco Partners on its acquisition of Kobalt, a music company powered by innovative technology created as an alternative to the traditional music-business model
• Brookfield on the sale of Student Roost to a joint venture formed between GIC and Greystar 
• GIC on the £694 million acquisition of a 75% stake in the majority of Paddington Central assets from British Land 
• Kofax on the recommended all cash acquisition of Tungsten Corporation plc

Prior to joining Kirkland, Sher Lin worked on the following matters:

• ESR Cayman Limited on its proposed acquisition of the entire share capital of ARA Asset Management for approximately US$5.2 billion
• New Mountain Capital on the acquisition of Syntor Fine Chemicals
• Blackstone Real Estate on the privatisation of Soilbuild Business Space REIT for US$525 million
• CITIC Capital as an investor in the acquisition of 28% stake for US$3 billion in Mangrove 3 Ltd., the property management arm of China Evergrande Group
• Permira as the lead investor in Full Truck Alliance Co. Ltd., China’s largest online B2B marketplace for commercial freight, connecting truckers and shippers
• Waterland Private Equity on its contemplated acquisition of a 50% stake in The Cookware Company group, a Belgium-based cookware manufacturer with global presence, including sales office and production facilities in South Korea and China
• Temasek on its growth equity investment in D3 Bio, a global biotech company focused on oncology and immunology
• AustralianSuper on the acquisition of a stake in Peel Ports Group, the second largest port group in the UK valuing Peel Ports at around £4 billion
• Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics on the acquisition of Finland-based Hytest Invest Oy, a global supplier of raw materials used in tests for diseases such as COVID-19 for €545 million
