Who Represents America's Biggest Companies

American Lawyer Media asked general counsel at Fortune 250 companies which law firms they use as their primary outside counsel.  This year, 119 companies participated in the survey and named 421 law firms.  In the fourth annual "Who Represents America's Biggest Companies" survey, corporate America ranks Kirkland & Ellis as follows:

Litigation:
Seventeen mentions place Kirkland & Ellis as the number one "go-to" firm for litigation for the fourth year in a row.

Intellectual Property:
Eight mentions place Kirkland as the number one firm for intellectual property for the third consecutive year. 

Most Mentions Overall:
Kirkland ranks among the top four in the nation, with 31 mentions overall, for representing the biggest companies in the combined areas of litigation, intellectual property, corporate transactions, labor and employment, and corporate governance.
