Chambers' comments:

National Ranking: 4

The Firm: The firm continues to attract praise for its "wonderful" auto loan securitization practice.  In recent years, it has handled offerings by GMAC totaling over $100 billion of notes backed by pools of retail auto loan receivables and dealer floor plan receivables.  Other asset classes in which the group has particular experience are mainstream categories such as credit cards, trade receivables, and equipment leases.  Emerging asset classes such as charged-off credit cards, structured settlements and healthcare receivables are also found in the caseload here.

The Lawyers: Kenneth Morrison is highly esteemed for his experience in the auto finance arena. Interviewees endorsed his "great attention to detail," adding: "He is very good at recognizing the commercial parameters within which clients operate." Recently, he led the team on a $55 billion whole loan sale of retail auto loans by GMAC.

Clients/Work Highlights: GTCR Golder Rauner, Goldman Sachs Private Equity Group and GMAC are among the clients.
