Who Represents America's Biggest Companies
In the fifth annual “Who Represents America’s Biggest Companies” survey, American Lawyer Media asked general counsel at Fortune 250 companies which law firms they use as their primary outside counsel. This year, 142 companies participated in the survey. Corporate America ranked Kirkland & Ellis as follows:
Litigation:
Fourteen mentions placed Kirkland & Ellis as the number one “go-to” firm for litigation for the fifth year in a row.
Intellectual Property:
Six mentions placed Kirkland as the number two firm for intellectual property. This is the fourth consecutive year that Kirkland has placed in the top two.
Most Mentions Overall: Kirkland ranked among the top three in the nation, with 23 mentions overall, for representing the biggest companies in the combined areas of litigation, intellectual property and corporate transactions.
