Award Washington Business Journal

2008 Best Places to Work

Kirkland was selected as one of the "Best Places to Work" by the Washington Business Journal. The firm ranked in the "Large Companies with Non-Local Headquarters" category. More than 300 companies took part in this year's survey, and Kirkland was one of eight law firms chosen.

The annual survey recognizes companies in the Washington, D.C., area for their positive work environment, recruitment and retention policies, employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture. The Washington Business Journal partnered with Quantum Market Research to conduct the survey. At least 50 percent employee participation is required for companies to be considered.

Kirkland was recognized for specific perks and benefits offered to employees, including three weeks of vacation, on-site fitness center or instruction, wellness/stress management program and on-site child care.
