Dealmakers of the Year 2021

The American Lawyer selected Kirkland & Ellis corporate partner Laura Sullivan as a 2021 “Dealmaker of the Year” for her work representing Grubhub, a leading online and mobile food-ordering and delivery marketplace, on its agreement to be acquired by Just Eat Takeaway.com N.V., a leading global online food delivery marketplace, in an all-stock deal for a total equity consideration of $7.3 billion. Honorees are recognized for creative lawyering to novel issues of law in the deals that mattered most in 2020.
