Kirkland Recognized at 2025 Law Middle East Awards

Law Middle East named Kirkland “Construction Team of the Year” and recognized partner Kamran Bajwa as “Law Firm Leader of the Year” at its 2025 awards. The Law Middle East Awards “recognize achievements across a range of categories, reflecting the breadth of innovation and excellence shaping legal teams in the Middle East.” 

Kamran is the founder of Kirkland’s Riyadh office and leads the Firm’s Middle East practice. He has extensive experience across various areas of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, investment funds, corporate finance, real estate, joint ventures, and securities regulations on behalf of private equity sponsors, corporations, family offices, and individuals. Kamran also handles highly complex international legal matters on a regular basis with a focus on matters related to the Middle East and emerging markets.

Kirkland’s Construction Practice Group is led by partner James Clark, who also practices in Riyadh. James has extensive experience advising developers and lenders on the full suite of documentation required for the procurement, construction, and delivery of major projects, with a particular focus on Gigaprojects, major infrastructure projects, renewable and traditional energy projects, transport, sporting and social infrastructure projects, and relationship-based delivery models.
