Partner Amarto Bhattacharyya Named Pro Bono “Rising Star” by the NIJC

The National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) honored Kirkland partner Amarto Bhattacharyya with a “Rising Star” award at its annual Human Rights Awards. Amarto was recognized for his commitment to advancing justice for asylum-seekers and his pro bono advocacy on behalf of NIJC clients.

“As a first-generation American, I am honored to represent immigrant families who are fleeing persecution and navigating a complex legal system,” Amarto said. “But this work can’t be done alone, and I’m deeply grateful for the partnership with the National Immigrant Justice Center.”
