Partner Ted Frankel Named a Notable Leader by Crain’s Chicago Business

Crain’s Chicago Business recognized Kirkland partner Ted Frankel among its 2026 “Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law.” The list includes 135 professionals who “reflect the breadth of Chicago’s accounting, consulting and legal communities and their influence across the region and beyond.”

Ted, who earned this distinction for advising clients such as GTCR and Honeywell, serves on Kirkland’s Executive Committee, finance committee, admissions committee of income partner review, and associate and income partner compensation committee.

Ted focuses on M&A and other strategically important transactions domestically and internationally. His practice also involves joint ventures, equity investments (including PIPEs and growth equity investments), recapitalizations, continuation fund transactions and corporate restructurings.
