Litigator of the (Past) Week Runners-Up and Shout-Outs

"... A Kirkland & Ellis team including Jennifer Levy, Mark Holscher, Lauren Falk, Joseph Capobianco and Tracie Bryant helped Kimberly-Clark Corp. beat back claims brought by residents of New Milford, Connecticut, claiming the paper goods maker polluted the town and the Housatonic River with PFAS chemicals. U.S. District Judge Kari Dooley in Bridgeport dismissed the suit without leave to amend late last month. The judge found that the PFAS levels in the plaintiffs’ drinking water were not actually elevated from those found in drinking water wells all over the state and that their alleged injuries could not be tied back to the company."
