Kirkland & Ellis International LLP Represents Change Capital Partners in Sale of Hillarys Blinds

Kirkland & Ellis International LLP is advising Change Capital Partners in respect of its  sale of portfolio company Hillarys Blinds Limited for approximately £225 million.  The purchaser is Bellotto Acquisition Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of European Capital Limited.  Hillarys is the UK's leading provider of made-to-measure window blinds.

Leading the Kirkland deal team are corporate partners Matthew Hurlock and Rory Mullarkey out of the Firm's London office.   Other Kirkland attorneys (all London based) working on the matter are tax partner John Baldry along with associates James MacArthur, Claire McDaid, Frank Webster and Samrad Nazer.

Kirkland also served as lead counsel on the acquisition by Change Capital Partners of Hillarys from Close Brothers Private Equity for £115 million in 2004.
