Kirkland & Ellis International LLP Advises Sunrise Senior Living Inc. on Sale of German Senior Residences

MUNICH, 2 November 2010 -- Kirkland & Ellis International LLP advised Sunrise Senior Living Inc. and its involved German subsidiaries in the sale of nine senior residences located in Germany. The first eight residences were sold in June 2010 and the sale of the ninth and last residence in Klein Flottbek (Hamburg) closed on 31 October 2010. The Pension Fund of the Employees of Hoechst Group, VVaG, bought the last residence, and the new operator will be Elbschloss Pflege Wohnen GmbH.
