Kirkland & Ellis International LLP advised H.I.G. European Capital Partners, LLP, the adviser of H.I.G. Europe Capital Partners, L.P., on the acquisition of a participation in Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland GmbH from Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts (KKR). Further participations have been acquired by private investors as well as the management team of Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland GmbH as co-investors. The value of the transaction is confidential. Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland GmbH, headquartered in Cologne, Germany, was founded in 1990 as the first dual system and is a leading provider of recycling systems. Kirkland advises H.I.G. Europe Capital Partners, L.P. on an ongoing basis.
