Kirkland & Ellis Advises 3G Capital and HJ Heinz in Transaction with Kraft Foods

Kirkland & Ellis represents 3G Capital and H.J. Heinz Company which, along with Berkshire Hathaway, announced today its agreement to merge H.J. Heinz with Kraft Foods Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: KRFT) to create The Kraft Heinz Company, forming the third largest food and beverage company in North America with an unparalleled portfolio of iconic brands.
