Kirkland & Ellis Represents Francisco Partners in Formation of $2.875 Billion Fund IV

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represented Francisco Partners, a leading technology private equity investment firm, which last month announced that it completed fundraising for Francisco Partners IV, L.P. with total capital commitments of $2.875 billion.

The Kirkland team that represented Francisco Partners is led by private funds partners Sarah Kirson and Justin Solomon, and includes private funds associates Danielle Quinn and Sojeong Hong, tax partner Donald Rocap and associate Joel Peters-Fransen, investment management partners Scott Moehrke and Kevin Bettsteller, European regulatory partner Lisa Cawley and associate Adam Skinner, employee benefits partner Laura Bader and associate Jake Glazeski, bank regulatory of counsel Julie Kunetka and corporate associate David Mashburn.
