Kirkland Counsels GTCR on its Agreement to Sell The Townsend Group to NorthStar

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised GTCR, a leading private equity firm, in its definitive agreement to sell its interest in The Townsend Group to NorthStar Asset Management Group (NYSE: NSAM), a global real estate asset management firm. The Townsend Group is a leading provider of global investment management and advisory services focused exclusively on real estate and real assets. The details of the transaction were not disclosed.
