Kirkland Counsels Oaktree on Agreement to Acquire Trench Plate Rental

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represents the Power Opportunities Group of Oaktree Capital Management L.P. on its definitive agreement to acquire Trench Plate Rental Co. (TPR), one of the country’s largest suppliers of trench safety and traffic control solutions. TPR’s existing management team will continue to serve in the same capacity and has partnered with Oaktree to further expand the company’s product and service offering and geographic footprint. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2016. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The full release is available here.
