Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Gryphon Investors in the formation of Gryphon Partners IV, LP (Gryphon IV), which announced its final closing at its hard cap of $1.1 billion of aggregate commitments. The fund was oversubscribed and exceeded its original target of $600 million. Gryphon IV will continue the firm’s nearly 20-year history of partnering with management teams in North America to build leading businesses through the aggressive pursuit of growth, both organically and through add-on acquisitions, in business services, consumer products and services, healthcare, and industrial growth industries.
