Kirkland Represents Silversmith Capital Partners on Investment in DistroKid

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Silversmith Capital Partners, a Boston-based growth equity firm, on its significant investment in DistroKid, a leading provider of SaaS-based software that serves independent musicians and record labels. As part of the transaction, Todd MacLean, co-founder and Managing Partner and Sri Rao, Principal at Silversmith, will both join DistroKid’s board. The financial  terms of the investment were not disclosed.
