Leading Insurance Transactional Attorney Rajab S. Abbassi Joins Kirkland & Ellis in New York

Kirkland & Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that Rajab Abbassi has joined the Firm’s New York office as a partner in the Corporate Practice Group.

Mr. Abbassi’s practice focuses on corporate transactions in the insurance industry, where he has advised on many of the industry’s most significant transactions over the last 15 years. Mr. Abbassi regularly advises on mergers and acquisitions, reinsurance transactions, joint ventures and strategic investments. He also counsels boards of directors and senior management in the insurance industry on strategic and governance matters.

Mr. Abbassi was previously a partner at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York.
