Kirkland Represents Infineon on Acquisition of Cypress for $10 Billion

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) on its acquisition of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: CY) for an enterprise value of €9 billion. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The closing is expected by the end of calendar year 2019 or early 2020.
