Kirkland Represents MSouth Equity Partners in Sale of Minority Stake to Bonaccord Capital Partners

Kirkland & Ellis represented MSouth Equity Partners, a leading lower middle market private equity firm, in its sale of a passive, non-voting minority stake in the firm to Bonaccord Capital Partners (BCP), a division of leading global asset manager Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The Kirkland team was led by investment funds and transactional partners Jordan Murray, Daniel Lavon-Krein, Stefan Paulovic and Amanda Border, and tax partner Lee Morlock. The team also included investment funds partner Rachael De Chacón and associate David Rabinovici, transactional associate Talya Levi, and tax associate Steven Cantor.
