Kirkland Counsels Cordero Energy on $130 Million Sale to Laredo
Kirkland & Ellis advised Cordero Energy Resources LLC on its sale to Laredo Petroleum Inc. Pursuant to the purchase agreement, Laredo agreed to purchase 7,360 net acres (96 percent operated) and 750 net royalty acres in Howard County, Texas for $130 million, subject to customary closing purchase price adjustments and conditions.
The Kirkland team was led by transactional partners Rahul Vashi and Shubi Arora and associate Lindsey Jaquillard.
