Kirkland Advises Hg and TA Associates in Recapitalization of Sovos

Kirkland & Ellis advises Hg, a leading global software investor, and TA Associates, a leading global private equity firm, in the recapitalization of global tax software provider Sovos. Hg will lead the recapitalization through the Hg Saturn 2 Fund, and TA Associates will join as a significant minority investor to support the next wave of the company’s growth.

The Kirkland team representing TA was led by corporate partner Adam Phillips and associate Jana Glock, with support from corporate partner Sean Kramer.
