Kirkland Represents Intelsat on Acquisition of Commercial Aviation Business of Gogo for $400 million

Kirkland advised Intelsat (OTC: INTEQ), operator of the world’s largest and most advanced satellite fleet and connectivity infrastructure, on its agreement to acquire the commercial aviation business of Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO), the largest global provider of in-flight broadband connectivity, for $400 million in cash. The transaction is expected to close before the end of the first quarter of 2021 and is subject to customary closing conditions. 

Kirkland is also advising Intelsat and certain of its affiliates in connection with their Chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
