Kirkland Advises Blackstone on $50 Million Investment in Ample
Kirkland & Ellis advised Blackstone on its $50 million total investment in Ample, a San Francisco based startup aiming to solve the energy delivery challenge for electric transportation by utilizing autonomous robotics and smart-battery technology. As part of the investment, Blackstone will join Ample’s board of directors.
The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Adam Phillips, Christopher Burwell and Sean Kramer, and tax partner Mark Dundon.
